Time for Professional Development

I spent yesterday in professional development at the vendor program that I will be working at this year. It was helpful. It was relevant. It answered my questions. It was only one day long (yep...it was short). To sum it up, it was the best PD that I've ever attended. How about you? How would you sum up your homeschool conventions or professional development sessions for the new school year? Feel free to add comments or expand on your answer below.

I attended a homeschool convention, but would not attend again next year.
I teach in a traditional setting and found PD to be a relevant and beneficial time investment.
I homeschool, attended a convention and found it very helpful.

A Proactive Approach to Preveting Burn Out

I’m enjoying a visit to my old stomping grounds. I’m working on field trips for the coming school year thanks to the flexibility of my “mobile office”. Where is your favorite “office” outside of your home/classroom?
